Aurra studied the escape pod console for a brief moment before trying to break through the security systems. She could feel the seconds slip by and knew they didn’t have much time left. Aurra hands flew across the console in an attempt to gain access to the escape pod’s system. She could sense that someone was watching her and tried not to think about the enormous pressure of the situation.

Sarahi looked at Kara, her eye narrowing for the slightest moment before she nodded. "Then please do." Sarahi encouraged her.

Ketreelawa stepped forward. "I can also assist you." she said.

(I am so sorry! I was preoccupied with a new job but I am here to get this going.) Kara prepared herself, as she knew the amount of energy she would need to put in for this idea to work. She closed her eyes and summoned the will to do what needed to be done. All the while knowing her mission, her goal, her task, that needed to be accomplish. The Sith must not be allowed to lay their hands on the key to the destruction of the galaxy. ---------------------------------------------- Jarx watched the young girl hands fly across the controls, "To all of you who are still out there, you have a minute, a minute before this place goes up. Be in this pod, or be outside or you are toast. ---------------------------------------------- Fidella fought the Rodian. The two kept swinging there blades, This alien is better then I thought. The Rodian came down with his vibro blade and Fidella blocked it. Fidella force pushed the Rodian away into a wall. The Rodian hit it with a thud and came down by a dead beast. The alien got up, "You will die now jedi scum!" Fidella stared at the Rodian leader, "Not today, not before I have completed my task." Anger could be heard in his words. The Rodian grabbed a blaster from the floor, but before he even had a chance to shoot, the supposed creature to his left reached out with one of it's massive claws and grabbed him by the leg with it's talons. The Rodian screamed as the massive claws pierced his armor and skin. It brought him down hard onto the ground and dragged him closer. Fidella turned his head as the Rodian met his end. The two jedi at the entrance left. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The demolition squad reached the bomb and prepared to disarm it when a holographic message appeared. A hooded figure was the hologram and it was an actual transmission in real time. The lead demolition expert watched the blue figure as it examined him. The face was cloaked in shadow as was most of it's body. A arm reached out to point at him, "You and your men are doomed. This bomb cannot be disarmed, if you walk away now I will prolong the time so you can leave with your lives." The Rodian spoke to the figure, "No, your bluffing. I have seen what is here. You wouldn't dare-" He was interrupted by the sounds of escape pods launching out of the installation. Which probably included anything that was irreplaceable. The figure watched and the Rodian said, "Disarm that bomb." The voice beneath the hood spoke, "You have signed your own death warrants." The bomb exploded when the first Rodian tampered with it. The explosion was huge. Fidella watched it with his companion and hoped everyone else was safe. The building was torn asunder. Chunks of it flew high into the sky and created craters when they landed. Nearby buildings that were near it had their foundations blown from underneath them and came down onto the floor of Coruscant. (Say if you were in the escape pod or not. If someone wasn't, then just come up with a creative way they survived and saw the message and saved themselves somehow. )

Sarahi highly doubted that anyone noticed she was gone. A flicker in the Force had made her skin crawl, and she had run out of the room as quick as possible. Gunfire could be heard from down one of the halls. Sarahi was able to catch the sound of a voice being transmitted through a holographic projector. Odd. I think I've seen... She shook her head and looked around for Brendak. She looked down at Gevurah. Stay close and don't fall behind. She warned him.
"You have signed your own death warrants." came the voice from the transmitter.
"That doesn't sound good." Sarahi said and finally spotted Brendak off in the shadows. Go figure. She watched as one of the Rodians nearby headed towards the bomb. Her eye widened and she leaped from her hiding place. "Not good, not good! Osi'kyr!" She tackled Brendak to the ground and protected all three of them with a Force shield. She gritted her teeth so hard there was a moment she thought they would shatter. "Aaray." Flame and metal flew all around them, but they were unscathed.

Jarx felt like he was going to vomit from how fast the escape pod launched upwards. The group inside hanged on for dear life as the pod escape the flames from the exploding station. The pod landed safely near the jedi temple, fortunately for them, and they were soon picked up by the emergency crews.
-----------------------
Fidella and his partner left for the temple, they had to get there.

Shaa gripped the sides of the pod as it came to a shuddering stop. She felt nauseous. This was definitely not her day. When the Emergency crew "rescued" them, she felt like punching someone in the face. She probably would have, if it wouldn't get her killed.

Ketreelawa took another breath and glanced at Shaa, who didn't look thrilled by the whole thing. Ketreelawa, however, was just happy to be alive and for the most part, unharmed.

Jenina blinked. "Well...that was exciting.." she said, attempting a half-hearted smile. She looked at Fidella as they headed for the Temple. "What will we tell the Masters?"
Lisa coughed, and stood, shedding debris and ashy powders, a result of something being vaporized by the blast. Brushing herself off, and shaking her ears vigorously, she muttered something about no-good Rodians and explosives..

Fidella looked at her, "We will tell them everything that has transpired over the course of the last few days. Everything." They will know what has happened here, what almost happened to us, and know that something much larger is at play here then we realized. ------------------------------------------
The emergency crews helped everyone out of the escape pod, some of them grinning as they helped the jedi, but they stopped grinning when the mandalorian stepped out and didn't even reach out to help him.
Jarx expected as much from people who had warred with his several years ago. He walked forward and the rescue crews backed away from him, They probably think I am responsible for this.
He then kept going. He didn't really care, but he had to tell his employers, the jedi, what had happen. Hopefully before the jedi Fidella got there and distorted the truth in any way, accidental or not.
----------------------
Kara watched Jarx as she slowly brought herself up from the ground. She could feel his anger and sadness. She could also sense his hidden anxiety that the others could not. This man interested her. He was an enigma in so many ways.

Jenina nodded. "Yes, Master. We should also be careful to tell everything just as it is...so no assumptions are made. Based on past historical study, the balance is usually tipped one way or the other by assumed information." She closed her mouth, realizing how much she was talking, and to a Master, no less. And one much older and surely much wiser than her own 16 years. "Forgive me, Master. I spoke out of turn..."
Lisa frowned at the reaction the rescue crew had toward Jarx. "Enough already...he's one of us. Have you never tried to help those in need, that you simply step back when one needs assistance?" she said, chastizing them for their behavior.

Ketreelawa agreed with Lisa. Just because he of his species, Jarx was judged upon with great distaste. It was true that the Mandalorians did not have a good reputation. She sympathized for him and then curiosity struck her. How did Jarx end up working for the Jedi Order? What was his past?

Aurra felt a little dazed as her mind tried to comprehend all that had happened over the last few moments during the groups’ struggle to escape the impending explosion. Once the escape pod had launched and they were free of the devastation, her mind wandered. She thought first of the few jedi and Lisa who had not made their way back to the escape pod in time. She hoped, however unlikely, that they were safe and out of harm’s way. Her thoughts wandered farther back to the compound and to all its secrets. A realization hit her like a splash of cold water in the face, 'Not only is this whole mission full of well-guarded secrets, this very group is nothing but a minefield of hidden pasts and dark secrets'. Aurra had become so deeply immersed in her thoughts that she had barely noticed when the escape pod landed safely right outside the jedi temple. Everyone inside was carefully helped out of the escape pod.
A refreshing, gust of fresh air made Aurra realize that she needed to focus on the current situation, instead of unraveling the mysteries of the past and worrying about the obscure future that lie ahead. She looked around, noticing some of the emergency crew scrutinizing Jarx with suspicious glares as he walked past, leaving Aurra to ponder the situation.

Lisa nodded to Ketreelawa, and then watched Shaa. Apparently she hadn't taken the trip in the pod so well... Reaching into a pouch she carried, she offered Shaa a small tablet. "Here..this might help settle your stomach."

Shaa smiled and took the tablet. "Thank you, this is just what I needed." She swallowed the pill and breathed deeply, already feeling the tablet work wonders.
"Time to continue. . ." She murmured.
