Ketreelawa came back to the conscious world. Everything seemed to be over. All the action had happened. In some ways, Ketreelawa was happy that she had missed it--she hated violence. It looked like they didn't need any help anyway. Jenina seemed to have recovered, which made Ketreelawa feel accomplished. I did it.Jenina smiled, feeling Ketreelawa's sense of accomplishment. She hugged her Wookie friend. Thank you...my life is in your debt.

(No! I am loving the Hebrew names!! ) Brendak resisted the urge to shrink from Gevurah's piercing gaze. "Who created you then? Who do the other Zev serve?"

Gevurah spoke, "We serve no one...now...our creators have not returned for a very..very...long...time.....we don't know who they were....because they left shortly after being done with us....but I will always...always...remember....him....."

Lisa watched Geruven, her gaze unflinching. His piercing eyes did not cause her discomfort...much.. She had nothing she really cared to hide anyway. Growing up on the streets did that to you. You were able to shut things up and lock them in tight, so far away from you that you almost forgot them...almost.
Jenina listened intently, not moving from beside Ketreelawa.

"If they haven't returned for a long time..." Sarahi slowly found the strength to stand up. "Then why haven't the Zev left this place? Are you sure your weren't being monitored the whole time, and just didn't know it?"

Shaa watched as Gevurah spoke. It was interesting, she had never seen anything like this creature. Even the ones in the tunnel before did not have this one's knowledge.

Ketreelawa waited for the beast to answer. At the same time she started to wonder how long it would be before the others returned.

Post by Aurra Lunelle on Jul 11, 2010 23:10:23 GMT -7
Jarx scanned the room and saw the body of a sith soldier slumped up against the far wall. He motioned for Aurra to go and examine the body of the sith soldier, and he knew that she knew that he wanted the data file attached to the dead soldier's belt. Jarx then looked around the command room and saw that the room was rectangular and held several desks of control switches and stations. He saw a chair that was against the long edge of the room smack dab in the middle. He also took special notice of the arm rests, that seem to also hold data screens. This command chair sounds like the same type of chair that jedi found.. He thought to himself. ------------------------- Kara slowly detached herself from Aurra and Jarx and stealthily made her way to one of the control counsels. She was looking for something specific, something very important to her. She looked up to see Jarx eyeing the command chair. She took no notice of it, as it had nothing to do with why she was here. She was here for reasons of her own. But she wasn't lying when she said she wanted to travel with Jarx. He was... mysterious to her. A puzzle to be solved. But not only that, he had been very kind to her, so far at any rate. She shook her head, Concentrate Kara, concentrate. she thought to herself. She couldn't afford to get attached. She had to do what she came to do. Her fingers flew quietly over the commands for her counsel. She kept looking up to make sure Aurra wasn't peeking, and Jarx didn't see her. She could not let anyone know what she was doing, esspecialy the jedi, and most of all, Jarx. (Sorry that I haven't checked on in a long time.) Aurra saw Jarx motion toward the body of a dead soldier slumped against a wall on the far side of the room. She knew he was just as curious about what information could be found on the soldier as she was. She slowly and tiredly made her way across the dimly lit room. She approached the soldier and silently knelt to examine his belt, the most obvious place to keep anything important. A data file was firmly attached to the belt. Aurra quickly snatched the data file curious as to what it contained. (Is there anything you want Aurra to do with the information? Or is there something important that she should find out? I'm a little confused as to where this is going.)

(Don't worry, I got you covered. ) Aurra handed Jarx the datapad which Jarx quickly scanned over with his eyes. Aurra read over Jarx shoulder, which annoyed him, but he could deal with it. SITH JOURNAL DATA ENTRY 1
I have been chosen for a secret mission. From what I have gathered, I am going to Coruscant, right into the enemy's lair. What for? I don't know. Maybe we are being sent to sabotage the enemy's factories, supplies, or support units? Maybe we are being sent to deal with the Republic's shipyards. I can only guess at this point.
DATA ENTRY 2
I have learned that we are not being sent to sabotage which is disappointing to say the least. I wanted to cripple the enemy's forces. But maybe we are getting a more...exciting....mission. Maybe we are going to assassinate several key members of the Jedi order? Who knows.
DATA ENTRY 3
Rumor is that we are being led by a sith Lord that even Lord Malak fears. A sith lord leading us on this mission can only mean that it is important. I do not want to fail, or the consequences could be disastrous.
DATA ENTRY 4
I have gathered information on our new leader. Granted it is not much, but it is better then nothing. Our sith lord goes by Darth Vex. What he is is still a mystery as he wears a mask at all times around the men. From what I have gathered, he is searching for something which is the reason for this mission, that we are going to some facility on Coruscant. I just hope this is a search for a weapon to end the Republic and not some wild goose chase for ancient sith knowledge that means nothing to the cause.
DATA ENTRY 5
We have arrived on Coruscant with little difficulty. Our enemy's security was surprisingly weak for their home planet. Now we are getting ready for a hunt for a installation in the bowls of Coruscant. I am reassured by our lord's speech that the jedi have no idea we are here and will not know till we are gone.
DATA ENTRY 6
We have found it and are now entering it. Our dark lord leads the way into the heart of this mysterious place.
DATA ENTRY 7
This place is a death trap. I should have seen it coming when we were sent in first. At first, it was calm when we entered, then the doors shut tight behind us and the beasts came. At first, they seemed not hostile. One of them asked us who we were. Our captain said we were sith, and then they turned hostile. Apparently they have been waiting for someone and disliked us.
DATA ENTRY 8
I cannot believe I have survived this long. I have been wounded and now I am holding up in this room which I believe is the command center. I can hear them in the ceiling. They tore through the men in a matter of seconds. I can hear them at the door. Jarx pocketed the datapad. Apparently the sith died quickly after they breached the room. Luckily though Jarx had important information. He had a name for their sith adversary. ----------------------------------- Gevurah looked at Sarahi, "We can't get out....the doors were sealed shut...besides...I don't know much....I have been sealed in that container for a long time.....I just knew what happened because of my connections....but...not to long ago...a powerful presence came....he was sith...and he has plans...that much I am certain of....I don't know if we are monitored or not.."

Shaa listened with a concerned expression on her face. A sith? No doubt it's the one we're looking for. She thought, shifting her wait from her left foot to her right.

Jenina glanced around at the containers the beasts had been in. "You mean, you were just left here, for all this time?" Lisa watched Gevurah, her eyes never once moving. Something seemed so familiar..and yet, the familiarity was fleeting...

Gevurah stopped speaking. He was done, and he looked at Sarahi and told her through their connection, I know nothing more....Sarahi...I will now just follow your lead...Sarahi...
-----------------------------------------
Kara found what she was looking for and slowly left the consuls. She now had to get this group out of this area and onto the next planet if possible.
---------------------------------------------
Jarx went over to the command chair and pulled up its entry files, he started to read them when alarms started going off all around them. A computer like voice spoke, "INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT!"
Funny, that didn't happen when we got here. Jarx thought to himself. He grabbed a datapad from his gear and uploaded the files onto it. He then saw Aurra and Kara looking at a screen. On the screen showed a huge band of Rodian gangsters shooting up the main hall. Several of the beasts were down but they were slowly gaining the upperhand. What the computer voice said next made Jarx hurry, "INSTALLATION HAS BEEN COMPROMISED! SELF DESTRUCT SEQUENCE HAS BEEN ACTIVATED! ETA 15 MINUTES!"
-------------------------------
Fidella heard the voice as did the others. He didn't know what Jarx did, but he was sure it was the mandalorian's fault somehow. He looked at the others, "This discussion is over. We get out of here now."
"What of the others?" Brendak asked.
"The Mandalorian and those two girls knew the risks. We leave them as we do not have the time to look for them."
He didn't even wait for a response as he activated his lightsaber and went into a quick jog towards the way they came in.
---------------------------------------------------
The Sith Lord watched with renewed interest. The station's self destruct sequence had been activated. When he went in, they had to manually disable it. When the jedi went in, they did not. But now the self destruct sequence activated because of some ruffians. What luck. He hadn't activated it before because he didn't want to draw attention to it. But now, he may be rid of two threats at once.
----------------------------------------------
The main Rodian leader looked at the others, "Keep fighting. We have to find that self destruct sequence and deactivate it!"
"We are losing to many men sir!" his second-in-command stated.
"With the credits we get from salvaging this place, we can afford a whole system!"

Sarahi looked at Gevurah and nodded. Then she turned to Fidella with a frown, but he was already headed out the way the came. "And he calls himself a jedi...hut'uun; coward!" Sarahi raised her voice enough for Fidella to hear. She turned to the rest of the group. "Follow him if you want, but I'm going to find the others."
Without waiting to see if anyone followed her Sarahi left the room with Gevurah close behind her. She shoved passed Fidella and glared at him. "Your hatred for my people is putting peoples' lives at risk. I don't know what happened between you an we Mandalorians, but it's keeping you from being a real jedi."
Sarahi turned her back to him and tried to find where Jarx and the others had gone. An idea came to mind, it was a long shot, but she hoped it would work. Jarx, Aurra, Kara, where are you?
~~~
Cla'Tal cracked his neck and hands. "Find me a computer and I can easily shut this thing down." he grinned and followed Sarahi.
Brendak glanced between Fidella and Sarahi, not moving.
Both of their intentions were, essentially, good. Sarahi was intent on making sure that lives were not lost. The objection of every jedi. Fidella was realizing that present lives were at stake and that the others could, in fact, take care of themselves.
Brendak made a step to follow Sarahi, and stopped instantly. There was something else. Something bigger playing here.
A strange feeling gripped his mind and he couldn't help sensing that they were being..... monitored. Ice glazed his heart. Was it a coincidence that the self destruct sequence had been alerted to the presence of these newcomers and not been disturbed by the group of jedi? Was it chance that Gevurah's kind had lived here for so long and just now been activated? Logic and common sense told him otherwise.
"Cla'Tal," Brendak said before he could stop himself, then winced. If they were being watched, his first idea was simply stupid. Cla'Tal, he thought at the jedi. We are being watched. I think that a distraction is needed, I can provide that. But I need you to follow Sarahi and shut down the the sequence while I keep whoever is following us trained on me. If we don't, we could all be led into one trap after another until the computer reaches zero with us still trapped inside.
Got it. Cla'Tal turned and nodded to Brendak, a smirk clearly visible on his face. In all truth, he had no problem following Sarahi. As long as his 'fellow' jedi stayed away from her, he'd be willing to do anything.
