Ketreelawa's head tilted slightly to the left, "Jarx said to meet at the jedi council in fifteen minutes. Did you not recieve that?" What will the council think of me? Last they heard before presuming me dead, I had turned to the darkside. Will they think of me as a ghost or a sith? Am I truly brave enough to face them?Jenina looked at Ketreelawa. "Message? Oh..." She looked for her communicator. "I must have dropped it.. but let's get to the council room. I can get another one." She offered a hand to her Wookie friend, and entered the council room with Ketrelawa, in time to hear what Jarx was saying. Lisa looked at Jarx, grinning. "Gang War? Dangerous, and exciting." She didn't care whether he was in charge or not. But the underground was starting to appeal to her original reckless nature.

Cla'Tal cracked his knuckles. "Right, let's go now and break a few necks along the way." He smiled at the thought of look Sarahi was living him now.
~~~
"Or not." Sarahi replied back to Cla'Tal giving him a look at could kill. "Is there anything else we should know before we head out?" she asked Jarx stiffly.
Ketreelawa slowly nodded, accepting what the mandalorian had to say. The mission seemed simple enough. How hard could it be?
"I am alive," a soft whisper called to her from her left. She quickly turned, reconizing the voice, but failed to see anyone.
"Stange. . ." Ketreelawa thought, disregarding it as her imagination.
Cla'Tal cracked his knuckles. "Right, let's go now and break a few necks along the way." Lisa grinned at Cla'Tal. "Excellent suggestion. Maybe you and I should go break a few together." she said, her eyes twinkling.
Cla'Tal blinked. "Uh...o-okay?" he stuttered. Cla'Tal wasn't sure if Lisa was serious or not.
( Yikes! I come on this morning, nobody has written, then I come on now- and we have a new page!) Shaa smiled at Lisa and Cla'Tal. This mission was getting better by the second. . .
(Ha! Double post!)
Shaa looked around the group. When her gaze fell on Ketreelawa, a rather enjoyable memory popped up in her mind:
"Shaa! I need to talk to you!" Shaa turned to see a Jedi running towards her, out of breath and slowing down. "Yes, Ak'la?" She asked, noticing that the Jedi was her friend, Ak'la Undii, a Twi'lek girl who had trained with her as a padawan. Ak'la stood up straight and crossed her arms, saying, "I was just speaking with Master Itsu about you. She said it was time that you get a padawan." Shaa laughed. "Is that so? Hmm.... No thanks." "But even I have one! He's a very good student." While she was speaking, two young, male padawans walked up behind Ak'la but kept their distance, apparently in deep conversation. Shaa shook her head. "I'm sorry. I am not a good enough teacher to take on one yet." She said. Ak'la placed her hands on her hips. "That's not true! You just don't want a padawan!" "Yep." "Why?" "I just told you." "No, you didn't! Come on, take one. Their so sweet!" As soon as she had finished her sentence, Shaa watched the taller of the two padawans lung at the other, letting out a yowl of aggravation. Ak'la turned around and her face paled. "Oh yes, Ak'la. They are so, so sweet." She said with a smirk of satisfaction. "Uh.. Excuse me for a moment?" Her friend said as she stalked over to the boys and pulled the top one off the other. Actually, she had thought about taking one of those boys as a padawan before, but now she was having second thoughts. . .
Shaa smiled.
The moment that Brendak entered the room, he wished that he could leave. Listening to Jarx play out their next move, avoiding any mental or visual contact with Sarahi, and trying harder than he should have been to conceal everything that had just happened proved to be a harder task than he thought.
Tearing his mind away from from Sarahi, he attempted to focus totally on the mission. Going under ground, once again. There was a pattern here. A gang war that the Republic was going to dismiss. Never a good idea. Small problems always grew into something that the Republic couldn't control when they were left unattended. The probability of sith involvement was not high, though not unlikely. Sith were driven by anger, but many could be quite subtle. Making the most likely place for target the gang leaders personal life. Sith could often act as allies and promise the easily-beguiled leaders anything that they wanted. However, sith were anything but predictable.......
All of the thoughts that ran through his mind took less than ten seconds to process. He paused, slightly pleased that he had been able to turn his mind back to the mission at hand instead of..........Sarahi.
What had he been thinking? Doesn't matter, he told himself. Its all in the past. Yet, no matter how many times he mentally force-choked himself, he couldn't quite get himself to regret the moment. Which worried him more than anything.
Brendak jerked his head, trying to shake the thoughts from his mind. Focus!!
"Right, let's go now and break a few necks along the way." "I'm dead serious. We should go break some necks together."
Brendak's eyes snapped open at the sound of Cla'Tal and Lisa's conversation. He turned toward them stiffly. "This isn't a game," He hissed, more venomously then he meant to. "It doesn't matter if they make up the entire scum-sucking population of criminals. They are still beings with life and a beating heart that you two have the power to end. Think about it."
Trying to breathe out slowly, Brendak twisted around to Jarx. "Please continue," he said rather sharply.
Ketreelawa's eyes shot to Brendak, "They are still beings with life and a beating heart!" he hissed.
"She's still a being with life and a beating heart!" the small bulky man protested.
Darth Morax's gaze peirced into the man's eyes, "Do you question me?"
The man straightened and he glanced nervously over at Ketreelawa, who lay in crumpled in the corner, "Uh, um, ah, no Sir! Never!"
"Good."
Ketreelawa cringed at the memory. Remembering the pain, her paw slowly reached up and felt the long scar that ran the length of her right arm. She winced then quickly put the thoughts out of her mind.
(Sarahi hasn't had much sleep lately. Lol.)
Sarahi nodded at Brendak's outburst. "He's right, and coming from a jedi, Cla'Tal, you should be ashamed. As a jedi it is our duty to preserve life." Sarahi crossed her arms defiantly. "Even if you were a lower life form, I would kill you just because of your stupidity." she smiled inside. Sarahi had just made a joke. Not a nice one to be sure, and at Cla'Tal's expense. She was sure that anyone in their right mind would think it was funny, and nearly true.
Cla'Tal let it sink in for a moment as he stared down at his feet. His head snapped up quickly and he frowned. "Hey! Just because I'm at a lower rank doesn't mean you can say whatever you please."
"I was clearly making a point." Sarahi turned away from him. "If you don't like it, the grow up and deal with it."
"I should re---" Cla'Tal didn't get to finish.
"report me to the council?" Sarahi tried to push her cockiness away. "Go ahead. Let's see who they side with. A jedi who left the Order because they were emotionally unstable, or a jedi master who has dedicated their entire life to the Order?" I'm such a hypocrite. Sarahi thought to herself. I have no right to judge him.
She resisted the urge to glance at Brendak. Instead she turned her focus onto Jarx, both her eyes blazing. "Let's get going and you can explain to us what we are doing exactly on the way. We are wasting time standing around here. We either get going or I'm reassigning myself to a solo mission in the Outer Rim."
Shaa thought Sarahi had been a little harsh on Cla'Tal. He was just joking anyway . . . probably. She decided not to comment on the matter and focus. "I agree. We should get going now."
Lisa's eyes flashed. Her cat ears flattening, she turned to face Brendak, back rigidly straight. "You think I see any of this as a game?! Or that I don't know that they're living beings? And who do you think you are to lecture me about gangs in the first place? I have been in darker places 'underground' than you would care to imagine. I also know more about gangs and the way they act than you do. So don't start telling me to think about it. Because I do. Every day that I'm alive." She drew a sharp breath, the blaze in her eyes diminishing, and withdrew into a corner, eyes shadowed. Jenina blinked. Lisa had never done anything like that before.
Ketreelawa felt Jenina's small hand pat her arm and immediately felt embarassed. How could you be so careless? Everyone in the room probably feels you're pain! she snapped at herself, before putting several mental walls up, keeping her deepest feelings locked down within. Ketreelawa turned her gaze to Jenina, Still, she's trying to make me feel better. I appreciate that.
