(Sorry I was gone for a couple of days. Quick question: Jenina, was Lisa training to be a Jedi? I thought that she didn’t have force sensitivity.)
Somewhere deep inside Aurra knew that what she did was wrong, although she would never admit it. She was desperate. She had no money or anything of significant value. Her most valuable possession, her father’s ship, had exploded along with any and all of her belongs, leaving her with only a few blasters and a couple of small blades. In her mind, she had no choice. It was survival.
“It is wrong to steal. And from a youngling Padawan? That’s even worse. Stealing is not tolerated in this place, nor will I simply allow you to go around picking pockets.” Lisa stated with a stern look full of pure annoyance. The word steal made Aurra flinch.
"Borrowed." She corrected, "Borrowed without returning." She thought for a moment.
"Think of it this way: Say that Oola-what's-her-name was in a dangerous situation in the near future. For example, say she was trapped in a room with 300 sith troopers and she had only this lightsaber for a weapon. Now . . . this is a Padawan's lightsaber; seeing as it was made by a youngling, I doubt it will effectively serve its purpose for very long. What if this lightsaber gave up on her? She would die a horrible death. But since she doesn't have this lightsaber, she will make a new lightsaber . . . . . . a better one! So really I’m actually doing that Padawan a favor. In fact, I may have just saved her life.”

(You are right, Aurra. She isn't. She was offered a place to stay in the Temple when she was younger. She attended classes with the others, but didn't train as a Jedi. She learned more advanced fighting techniques, as in hand-to-hand combat, rather than train with a saber. Hehe, she really sounds like Jack now.. Lisa narrowed her eyes. "The youngling will still need that saber until she has accomplished enough to build her real saber. Now give it back. If it is a matter of sufficient supplies and money, I will find some way to make them accessible to you. But borrowing without returning is not, and will not be tolerated.

(Ack. I apologize because I was absent for such an extended period of time. Sorry, I just didn't want to copy Aurra! ) Tears glistened in Sarahi's eyes and contrasted with the crystal laugh that seemed to come from her heart more than her mouth. Before Brendak could react, Sarahi threw her arms around him and embraced him. "Thank you! Thank you." But he barely hear her words. He couldn't breathe. He was too caught up in her, too far gone in her presence. Too lost in a world that had no time, change, or explanation. He never wanted it to end. Slowly, not quite sure if a piece of him from his former life had gotten ahold of him, or if he just wanted to remember, Brendak Shiel drew his arms around her and held her close. "No, Sarahi. It is I who must thank you......."

Sarahi could feel shivers run up her spine as Brendak hugged her tightly. She nearly forgot how to breath as they stood together in what seemed like a lifetime. She pulled back slightly and stared into Brendak's deep midnight blue eyes.
Sarahi felt herself draw nearer to Brendak's face. She closed her eyes, but just then, the memory of her trials flashed in her mind's eye. Sarahi took in a sharp breath and pulled completely away from Brendak.
"Right, I have a few things to do...before we...return to the ship." She bowed and cleared her throat. "Master Shiel." Sarahi turned and started to quickly walk away.

(Sorry I was gone. I have been really busy.)
Jarx and Kara walked calmly back to the Twilight. They had talked only a little and had gotten the supplies they needed. Jarx looked at Kara and said, "I have been thinking-"
"About what?"
"About how we are going to find this place. This, underground installation."
Kara looked at him with curiosity, "Is the seemingly all-knowing Jarx stumped?"
Jarx almost laughed, "I never said I was all knowing."
"This comes from a man who wears a helmet anytime he is near is team."
Jarx looked away, "I gave you a reason before, and I have my own...personal reasons."
Jarx could feel Kara's eyes staring at the back of his head, "Don't tell me you are afraid to make attachments."
Jarx didn't answer. He looked up at one of the city's big view screens and saw the time. He turned on his communicator, "Meet at the Jedi council. I will be there within fifteen minutes."
----------------------------------------------------------
Fidella grudgingly listened to the council and left. He followed Jarx's instruction and left for the meeting.
(Next post we are off. Sorry it took so long.)

(Hey Jenina, if you want me to change this in any way, just let me know. ) Aurra thought about the situation for a moment and then decided that one Padawan's lightsaber really wasn't worth all this hassle. Besides, Aurra thought to herself, there are plenty of other ways to survive. Aurra sighed and rolled her eyes. "Fine." Aurra said, "It's probably not worth that much anyway." Aurra turned and walked a short distance down the corridor where she eventually found the twi'lek Padawan. "Hey, I think you dropped something." Aurra said holding the small lightsaber in her hand. The small blue twi'lek turned to face Aurra and a look of recognition showed on her face. "Master Lunelle," Oola said before glancing at the small shiny object Aurra was holding, "My lightsaber! Oh, thank you so much! I can't believe I lost it! What would Master Yatta think?" Oola took back her lightsaber and hugged Aurra. "I'm sure he wouldn't be too pleased." Aurra stated. "Thank you so much!" Oola repeated. Aurra looked down at the Padawan and said, "No problem. You best be running along now." The small twi'lek nodded and then departed. Aurra felt slightly annoyed with herself for giving in to Lisa's request. Although, a Padawan's lightsaber isn't really worth the trouble, she reminded herself before heading back down the hall to where Lisa was. "There. Are you happy now?" Aurra said with a sarcastic tone, "As for my financial status, I don’t need any help. Thank you; I can survive just fine on my own."

Shaa nodded and took another sip of her drink before hearing Jarx's voice buzz over her communicator. "Well, I suppose we should get back there. . ." Shaa stood and smiled at Cla'Tal. Even though she had enjoyed this conversation with him, she couldn't help but feel that she was making him uncomfortable when talking about Sarahi. It was just a feeling, but. . . "I'm sorry, if I made you uncomfortable at all. I guess I'm just not used to this. My master was so open to everything, before he. . . Joined the force."

(It's fine, Aurra! ;D This is rather fun!)
Lisa nodded. "I am satisfied that you returned it." She offered a small pouch, not quite meeting Aurra's eyes. "If you sell a few of these, they should help you out quite a bit." Without waiting for a reply, she put the pouch into Aurra's hand, and closed Aurra's hand around it. Turning, she walked off, in response to the summons.
Jenina continued wandering, deeply absorbed in research on the Holo-Net datapad. She didn't hear the summons, having dropped her communicator somewhere in the halls without noticing.

(I hope this okay Jenina. I can make any changes)
Ketreelawa slowly walked down the endless hallways of the temple, then stopped when she saw Jenina, heading the opposite direction.
"Jenina? Might I inquire as to where you are going?" she asked.

Jenina pulled her eyes from her datapad, and looked at her Wookie friend with slight confusion. "Hm? What do you mean? Oh..I was just walking.."

Ketreelawa's head tilted slightly to the left, "Jarx said to meet at the jedi council in fifteen minutes. Did you not recieve that?" What will the council think of me? Last they heard before presuming me dead, I had turned to the darkside. Will they think of me as a ghost or a sith? Am I truly brave enough to face them?

(To the ship, to the ship, to the ship ship ship!!! ;D)
Brendak Shiel tightened his muscles and nearly staggered at the same time, feeling the sharp bite of longing and uncertainty and the swaggering blow that rationalism dealt to his mind.
Without thinking, when Sarahi slipped away from him and his new hope with her, he outstretched a hand toward her, beckoning her silently to stay. But the old dagger of realization cut any words from his throat and drew his hand back to his side, trembling slightly. What was he doing? Letting every part of his life fall away for this moment?
His com-link beeped suddenly and he jumped slightly, startled out of his thoughts. Unable to tear his eyes away from the place where Sarahi had stood a second before, he tapped his communication device to receive the message. It was from Jarx.
Meet at the jedi council. I will be there in fifteen minutes.
So they would be leaving. Brendak breathed in deeply, trying to control his uneven breaths. He took one last look over the bustling city of Coruscant before turning to leave, more confused than when he had come.

Cla'Tal shook his head. "Nope everything is fine." Just then, his communicator went off. Cla'Tal paused a moment to listen.
"Meet at the Jedi council. I will be there within fifteen minutes."
"Guess you got the message too. Time we head out then." Cla'Tal winked and got up. "Care to join me on the walk to the Council?"
~~~
Jedi Master Sarahi Qui...sarahi hardly thought that she deserved the title now. No attachments, no attachments. She told herself over and over again. That had always been Sarahi's weakness, but she couldn't help herself from caring too much about others.
She shook her head disgusted with herself. Before another stream of words that lowered herself even further, her communicator went off. Sarahi sighed. It's about time.
"Meet at the Jedi council. I will be there within fifteen minutes."
Sarahi shook her head and let out another audible sigh. It was apparent that the Council still let Jarx lead this mission, not that she had a problem with that or anything.
Changing her pace into a steady run, Sarahi made her way quickly through the Temple. Before long, Sarahi was standing alone in front of the Council chamber. She crossed her arms and threw her hood over her head. Predictable. She thought.
Jarx and Kara passed Sarahi, who followed them inside. The room was empty besides the chairs the council used in their discussion and meetings. Soon everyone started showing up till everyone was in.
Jarx looked at them, "Good for all of you to show up on time. Let us get this going, I just got a message from your jedi council...I am to take charge of this mission and all of you."
He let that sink in and could see the frustration and disappointment in several of them, Good, let them dislike me. It will just allow for more acceptance in my orders instead of trying to debate with a friend. he thought to himself.
-----------------------------------------------
Fidella listened closely to the Mandalorian, and he couldn't help but let the hate in him bubble up to the surface. He had an unspeakable hatred for the Mandalorian and his kind. They were butchers and murderers, We be better off if they would all just die in a plague. After thinking that thought, he caught himself, What am I doing? Have I gone mad? This is against all the teachings of the order! I cannot hate, and I cannot have thoughts like that ever again.
-------------------------------------------------------
Jarx took out a little gadget and pressed the button. A holographic projection screen projected a map of the lower city of Coruscant. Their was a huge red dot in the industrial section, "After knowing approximately were this secret base was, I was able to look for any extra energy spikes in the area. As you can see, I found one."
Cla 'Tal spoke, "Why do I have a bad feeling their is a catch to all of this?"
Jarx looked at him, "You know me so well boy." He turned his attention back to the map, "This point in this section and underground, deep underground. And that isn't the worst of it." He let the moans subside before continuing, "A huge gang war has popped up right there and the Republic as no idea why or how but has decided to let the gangs kill each other before moving in."
Sarahi looked up, "You suspect sith activity, don't you?"
Jarx looked at her, "Yes, I do. Or, worse, the leftovers from sith activity. Which would mean that the sith Lord has already been here."
"And right under the council's noses." Brendak murmered.
"Of course." Shaa nodded to Cla'Tal and they made their way to the council chamber together. Once they arrived, Jarx began showing them the underground world of Coruscant and explaining the groups next step in the mission. Great. More underground fun. "Will we be splitting up again?" She asked.
