“Stop acting like a child. Are you that blind not to see that his words were just a ploy to get you to cooperate? I suggest you calm down, and take a deep breath. We all need to work as a team if we are to get this mission done. I know you didn’t ask to be here, but the sooner we are done is the sooner you may depart.” Sarahi said as she stepped between Brendak and Aurra. Somewhere deep in the depths of Aurra’s thoughts she knew Sarahi was right, although she would never admit it.
Aurra then turned to her icy gaze from Brendak to Sarahi, who seemed rather irritated by something other than just Aurra, although Aurra was definitely a part of Sarahi’s irritation.
Sarahi, Aurra thought, What a strange jedi? She tells me to stop acting like a child, yet less than a day ago she was the child; she was the jedi who started the whole emotional chaos between the group. She calls me blind, yet she is so lost in the past sometimes she is blind to what’s in front of her. And she tells me to be calm, yet her intervention and insults will not help me to calm down. She acts like she knows me; like I am a predictable child. She knows nothing!
Aurra looked up at Sarahi’s half-metallic face, “This does not involve you! I am not acting like a child. I am merely concerned for our future in this compound. I don’t like to be trapped or weaponless. If we as a group continue to blindly trust these people, we could very well lose our lives or worse!”
Then Aurra thought back to Sarahi’s insult, ”Are you blind not to see that his words were just a ploy to get you to cooperate?” That doesn’t make any sense. Why would Brendak try to get her to come back to the group? Why would he have any problem with her leaving? She could take care of herself; of that she was certain. Sarahi’s statement didn't make any sense.
Aurra thought about commenting about it to Sarahi, then decided against it. Aurra was tired; tired of arguing, tired of traveling, tired of fighting, tired of everything. When was the last time she had slept or eaten? Aurra couldn’t remember.
Aurra glanced back at Brendak, who was wearing a ridiculous smile on his face. Then she turned toward the droid who was to take them to their apartments.
(Just a quick note of something I noticed, Brendak is only 4 years older than Aurra. At least, that is if the bios are correct.)

The group followed the droid. The people were dressed in a array of clothing. Jarx could pick out though the people who worked there by their uniforms. They wore black military type clothing. He also noticed that they all had a blaster of some sort inside a holster.
Jarx also took notice of the droids. There were not that many, not as many as he thought there would be. Unless of course there were a lot more hidden from sight. Most of them looked like normal protocol or service droids. But one of them he saw was a little to armored up to be anything but a security droid.
The installation was more like a miniature city. The droid led them down the streets. People were hustling back and forth like one would see inside a market. Fidella asked, "If this complex provides everything for its people, why is there a need for jobs? Why are they not walking and enjoying this...Wonderful, place you have?"
The droid ignored the sarcasm and replied, "This complex does provide everything its people needs. But, without work, you only get laziness and a very bad work ethic. So, it was decided, by my master-"
"Master?" Brendak asked.
"My builder. This complex's builder. Anyways, my master decided to have this complex not only run by the droids, but also by the people. This way in case something does happen, they could support themselves. And it would also lower the crime rate and prevent anarchy."
"If this is such a great place, and this master of yours is so benevolent, why are people forced to stay?" Sarahi asked.
"Because, Sarahi, this place must remain a secret. My master designed this place for several reasons and its main one being a sanctuary for the people. And, as you must realize, most of the people here are the outcasts that were lucky enough to stumble upon this place. But, the reason this place must remain secret, so it may not fall into anyone's hands. And that its technology fall into any one's hands, and so on."
The group kept moving, past the several towering buidlings, past the busteling crowds, Jarx looked at the droid, "What makes this technology so different from the sith's or the Republic's technology?"
"You will just have to take my word, Jarx. This place's technology, is much different."
They stopped by two big buildings that were side by side. The droid turned to them, "Your rooms have already been arranged, and here are your keys." It handed each one of them a different key, "You will find several pairs of clothing, that was chosen by your own taste, inside the wardrobe. Here is a map for each of you," He slowly handed out a map to each of them, "This will give you the basics. I will see you all again." He gave a slight bow, and left.
Jarx turned to them, "Okay ladies and gentlemen, looks like we all have our work cut out for us. First, we need to know everything about this place. It has to be more then a sanctuary. Second, we need to know what the populace thinks about this place, what they exactly do. Third, we need to keep tabs on the security around here, that way when we plane to get out, we can get out. That also means we need to know were our weapons are, because I do not plan on leaving without my blasters. And I have a gut feeling they have our viechles in storage. Forth, we need to know who this master is. Big chance is that he is already dead, knowing how long this place must have been here, but it would be nice to know who we are dealing with. So, are we all agreed then?"

(Does that droid only have profiles on different Mandalorians or something? It is freaking me out a bit.)
Sarahi ignored Aurra and followed the group. Before long the droid left their group and it was just them again with their own rooms. "I don't like how that droid knew my name." she crossed her arms.

"I agree," Shaa stated. "I could very easily talk to the people around here to get some information. Without looking too suspicious."

Ketreelawa looked from one person to the next, slightly confused and uncomfortable without her weapons. "I'll try to figure something out about this place," Ketreelawa said looking around at the strange world that they had entered. It was almost like it was all computerized, and the people were only holo-graphic images. It was almost like, none of this was real. If this place is peaceful, Ketreelawa thought, then why does it look more like a military base? How do we know this isn't a sith's haven? Either way, I do not trust this place.

“Sounds like a plan.” Aurra replied. “This place is giving me the creeps; there is definitely more to it than meets the eye. My gut tells me something is going on around here. I don’t think we can trust anyone here. Finding our weapons and vehicles shouldn’t be too hard. They have to have an armory around here somewhere. How do we know that this master is a he? For all we know, this ‘master’ could be a she. We should keep an eye out for any clues as to who and what this ‘master’ is or was.”

(The droid has access to most of the information on everyone in that group. So as not to ruin some surprises, that is all I can say. Pm me if you have any more questions. ) Jarx turned towards Aurra, "Get this straight, girl. I am getting tired of your know it all attitude. Till we know otherwise, I will say that this master is a he." A group of people started to pass them, till they realize they were the newcomers. One of them, a male Rodian, asked, "Welcome to paradise! It is nice to see some new faces around here." The green Rodian smiled. He looked at Sarahi, "Would you care to join me for lunch, lovely lady?" Another rodian, this one a blue female, walked over to Brendak, "You look so serious. Why not join me for lunch? Maybe I can make a smile appear on that grim face." She gave a little chuckle. Jarx lowered his head, Great, a greeting party. I hope- He could feel someone put a hand on his shoulder, "What is with the helmet? I bet your hiding a handsome face underneath all that armor." It came from a human female, who was almost as tall as him. He wanted to shrug away, but decided not to. As much as he hated it, this might be the best way to get information without drawing to much attention to themselves. The human female asked, "Why not join me for lunch?" He looked at the others, hoping that they would get his message and not think he just went nuts, "I would love to. I have been hanging around these guys...for far to long." She hooked her arm through his, and was practically dragging him away. ------------------------------------------- Fidella wanted to laugh, but decided not to. He looked at these, strangers, and pulled out of the group. He did not want to get involve in this, and act like he was dating. He was above that, and would not do it. He then made up his mind to investigate, on his own. He quickly made himself disappear without anyone noticing. --------------------------------------- The group was drawing more attention, as a twi'lik was practicully hugging Cla' Tal's arm, "Would you like to go with me to lunch? It would be fun. I know a great place to go, as the best food in this place." A wookie to Ketreelawa, and uttered something in its language, something only Ketreelawa could understand. A Cathar male, talking to one of his friends, made his way to Lisa. He was right behind her, as she was a little apart from the group, "I know your different." His friend, a human male, walked slowly to Shaa, "Hi. What's your name?" (Okay. I started this, but you make these guys. You can either refuse or accept, your decision. But if you accept, describe the people I have introduced more. I just wanted to open something for you guys to get creative. For those who didn't get a choice, you can decided wether you want to introduce someone, or just go rouge and try to explore. Your choice. )

Lisa spun at the sound of a person addressing her. "What?" her hands, reacting out of habit and instinct, reached for a knife that wasn't in it's sheath. She slowly lowered her hand, watching him. "An odd way to greet a stranger.." Jenina looked around, her eyes wandering, noting everything. She felt a little out of place. "I think...I think I will take a walk.." she said, shifting from one foot to the other.

(*laughing out loud* Jenina, I loved Lisa's reaction)
"You look like you just rolled around in a mud puddle," the female wookiee said in a motherly voice.
"Um," Ketreelawa started to say looking down at her browned fur.
"Tell you what, you go and tidy up in your quarters and then I'll fix you a nice dinner." the wookiee then studied Ketreelawa closer, "Heavens, girl! You look like you can't be more than fourteen years old! Where is your mother?"
"Uh," Ketreelawa avoided the gaze of the wookiee, "My mother and father were killed when I was two."
"Oh you poor thing! Well, don't worry, I'll take care of you." The wookiee opened her arms, and started to give a welcoming hug, but Ketreelawa pulled away.
"I. . ." Ketreelawa started, "No wookiee has ever been kind to me."
"Don't worry, I will be the kindest being you have ever met--I'll be the mother you never got to have." the wookiee said before hugging Ketreelawa.
This wookiee, is the very wookiee I dreamed my mother would be. She seems perfect...too perfect. It's like a dream...that I don't want to end. I never want to wake up from this. Ketreelawa thought, Even if it is too perfect, I don't want it to end.

(Do we get to name them too?!?)
Sarahi opened her mouth to object, but then Jarx said, "I would love to. I have been hanging around these guys...for far to long." She picked up on his hint.
Sarahi gave a bright smile and nodded. "I would love to." This is the last thin I want to do! She glanced over at Brendak wondering how he was coping with the sudden attention. Sarahi put a hand to her mouth and laughed, her shoulders shaking slightly. "My name is Sarahi Leor Qui, it a pleasure to meet a new face."
"No, no, the pleasure is all mine, fair lady." the rodian linked arms with her. "The name is Skdan Cevmo."
Sarahi sighed inwardly. At least he's about an inch or so taller than me. she thought. It would be weird if I were taller than him, though it is not unusual for a rodian to be Skdan's size.
The green rodian looked at her with wide black eyes. Occasionally when the light hit his eyes, they would reflect back with a sparkly blue hue. Sarahi held back a cringed. From beneath her hood, her droid eye probably looked like a venomous creature's eye ready to strike at careless prey.
She flashed another smile, realizing that keeping up this act would be no problem at all.
~~~
Cla'Tal's left eye twitched. Please go away, please go away, please go away! He looked down and flashed one of his fake winning smiles. He never had a problem hanging around females, but this twi'lek was getting on his nerves.
He unhooked her arm gently and weighed his options.
1. Make a scene, refuse and walk off leaving a shocked and possibly broken-hearted twi'lek behind. 2. Politely decline and find something else to do 3. Accept and well...go form there.
As much as option one would be entertaining, Cla'Tal decided to go with his third option, after he saw Sarahi walk off with the male rodian.
(Sure, go ahead. ;D )
The woman led Jarx down a street, and towards a place that had a ton of people. Inside was the normal noise you would hear at any cantina. She led him to a table, and he sat down across from her.
"So, whats your name tough guy?" She asked playfully.
He rest his hand on the table, "Name is Jarx Mandalore, but you could just call me Jarx."
She gave a little laugh, "My name is Kara."
The droid came up to there table, "What can I get you for lunch?"
Jarx picked up the menu, but instead just set it down, "You know, just surprise me."
"And you ma'am?" The droid queried.
"I would just like to be surprised too." She smiled.
The droid nodded and left. Kara turned to look at Jarx, "So, where are you from Jarx?"
"My last name not give you an idea?"
"Well, I did not want to assume."
"Well, I was originally from Coruscant, but my home was Mandalore." He responded. He looked at her blue eyes, "How about you? Where are you from Kara?"
"From some unnameable planet. My father brought me here, then left a long time ago. In truth, I don't even really know him."
Jarx nodded understanding.
---------------------------------------
Fidella avoided the droids as he made his way down the long corridor. He managed to get into some sort of facility inside the huge installation.
Elsewhere....
"But Sir! My men are trying there best!"
"Then work faster you imbecile." Shouted the dark figure.
"We are narrowing its location, give us two days sir, Please!" The sith officer pleaded.
"You have one commander, or I will be looking for your replacement!"
(Love it Robbie ;D) Shaa turned around to see a tall, human male talking to her. "Hi. What's your name?" He asked, smiling at her. "Shaa Oty. Yours?" She smiled back at him, brushing a piece of auburn hair out of her face. "Tyron Reesh. I'm going for a little stroll, would you care to join me?" Tyron said, his bright blue eyes twinkling. As much as Shaa wanted to reply with No, she knew the only way to get to the bottom of this Paradise was to talk to those who lived in it. "I would enjoy that." She linked arms with Tyron. They walked passed Cla'tal and the Twi'lek girl, and Shaa flashed him a I'm-sorry-you-have-to-be-with-her look. Tyron and Shaa strode down the street, Shaa taking in her surroundings carefully. Though this place seemed perfect, there was something wrong with it. She knew that in her heart. "So, where do you come from? I can tell you're new around here." Tyron stated, looking down at her. Shaa brushed her hood off of her head, just to look more inconspicuous. "Naboo. I grew up on Naboo, but then moved to Coruscant. Now, I'm here. Where did you come from?" Shaa asked. "I grew up here, and have lived here my whole life. It's truly perfect in this place. I would never even dream of leaving." He confessed, spreading his free arm out. Shaa nodded. "Is that so?" She mumbled. Tyron looked confused. "Are you having doubts?" "Oh no, but I was wondering about the history of this place, I'm just curious." "Well, what would you like to know?" He looked down at her "Oh, just a few things. Like, who built this place?" Tyron looked up, his eyes a million miles away.
( Really? Sorry! I thought that Aurra was only nineteen! ) When Brendak didn't move, the Rodian female stepped closer to him and curled her arms around his, drawing herself nearer to him. He fought the impending urge to lean back wards as her she brought her face within an inch of his. Her indigo skin was dark and textured, and her large, dark eyes shone with small sparks like galaxies. Thin, pointed ears flicked with interest as she raised a suction-shaped finger to the base of his neck and traced it along the top of his robe. "Why don't you come with me to take a walk?" She asked quietly. Blast it. Brendak fought the growing desire to tear down the entire building until he found a way out. Tied to a dura-steel pole in the middle of a monster infested sea? Fighting sith that had eaten things bigger than him? Being physically and emotionally tortured? Capturing bounty hunters that had the latest illegal weapon the size of Naboo with no lightsaber, all the while carrying a glass sphere that happened to be the key to world peace? Been there, done that. No problem. Simple. But this? This was entirely out of his league. He knew that often jedi were forced to attack a situation that was quite out of their comfort zone, and he had. But never anything like this before. The only time that he had encountered a circumstance at all relevant to this one, a friend of his who was, unfortunately, much more comfortable in a position like this, took care of it. He had blindly assured himself that he would keep himself out of any places that might force him to do anything like that. Yet here he was, pressed between the need to find out precisely what was going on and a female Rodian. He made his decision. "Alright," He looked down at her, producing a sly smile. Unlike the rest of their group, his smile was utterly real. It came from the half of his mind that eagerly awaited killing the other half once this whole ordeal was finally over. Letting the girl cling to his arm, but partly using it as a barrier between himself and her, Brendak confidently strode away from the group. At least, he hoped that it looked somewhat like confidence. "What is your name?" The girl crooned, keeping her eyes trained on him. "Brendak. What's yours?" He asked before she could notice he hadn't given her a last name. "Neeila Theese," The Rodian said, rolling the name on her tongue with perfect accuracy so that it sounded more beautiful that it was.
(Also, remember you guys can invite more people to participate. If you know someone who wants to join, but thinks they can't, can. This would be the perfect opportunity for them to do so. ) The droid came over with two hot dishes and two drinks, "Here is your meal. Please enjoy!" Kara took her drink and sip on it, "This is so good." Jarx looked at his. It looked pretty much like water, but it had a bunch of bubbles. He tipped his helmet up a little, just for his mouth and took a sip, and tasted a lot better then water, I think I can get used to this place. He then looked at his meal, "What is this?" Kara looked at there plates, "I don't really know. It is a special on the menu, does not give a name. But they taste hot and spicy, and are really good." The things on his plate were small, and red and a little slimy.It kinda looked like minature wings. Kara looked at him, "You know, just tilting your helmet back will not really allow you to really get the experience." Jarx nodded, and took a look around. He didn't want the others to see him, it would take the edge off his command. Know, he would rather be the mysterious type then the friendly type. He slowly took it off and revealed his face. His blue eyes looked at Kara, then at the food. Anticipating it was going to get messy, Jarx took off his gloves, and picked up the slimy food. He took a bite, and bit through meat and then felt hard bone. He let his teeth slide across the bone towards his mouth, and grabbed most of the meat with his teeth. He chewed and took several more sips of his drink before exclaiming, "When you mean hot, you mean hot!" Kara giggled, "Well, don't let the taste get to your head." He gave off his own chuckle. He then looked at his food, To bad this girl does not realize that we are not staying here for long. Jarx then let his eyes divert to Kara, "So, I hear that there is someone who runs this place, who is it?" Kara took a sip of her drink, "I really don't know. I haven't been here long, and I have only heard of the man a couple times, and I heard he has visited only like twice since I have been here." Kara set her drink down, "Why do you want to know?" Jarx took another bite out of his food, "I am just curious. As you must know, this is my first day." --------------------------------------------- Fidella dropped down from the pipes, This is a lot more security then you would expect at paradise. He could hear the hum. He had been hearing this hum for the last fifteen minutes. He had been trying to find the source of the hum, but to no avail. -------------------------------------------------- Elsewhere.... The sith officer gave a low bow before saying, "Sir, there is an urgent message for you." The dark figure waved his hand, "I am busy." The sith officer was nervous, "Sir, I am sorry to press this matter, but the message is from Lord Malak." The figure turned, "Of course it has to be Malak. I knew he would cause problems the moment I arrived. Patch him in commander, then leave. I know you have bussiness to attend to." The officer clicked his heels and gave a bow, "Yes Sir." The figure turned towards his screen, as Malak appeared, "Well, well, well. Look who decided to answer my call." The figure took in deep breaths in anger, "What do you want Malak! You know I am on urgent business here, and your meddling is not welcomed." Malak gave out his gutteral laugh, "Well, I had business of my own before you interfered." "I could care less about your little conquest of the galaxy. I am have more important matters to attend to then helping you." The figure hissed. Malak stared at the figure, and if he was there, there would be no doubt he would draw his lightsaber, "I am right now having trouble locating Bastilla. You know what I will have to do to stop her." The figure stood up from his chair, "If you do that you will regret it Malak. Even Revan knew not to cross me." "You have no choice. Remember, you are using my fleet, like you used Revan's fleet. Those soldiers of yours obey my commands, not yours." The figure uttered a curse underneath his breath, "How long do I have Malak?" Malak thought, "Twenty days. Then I am wiping this pathetic planet off the face of the galaxy." The screen turned off, and the commander came in, "Sir, we have located the place." The figure nodded, "Good commander." The sith officer was about to leave till he picked up the courage to ask, "Sir, do we really have twenty days?" "No. Malak is going to betray me just like he did his master. He seems to forget that I am much older then him and wiser. And I had my fair share of betrayals." "So sir, how long do we have?" "Not more then five days, probably a lot less." "So shouldn't we leave?" The Dark figure turned, "Not yet. But, prepare as many troops and ships as you can. Go up top, get more men on our side. Tell them that there master plans to betray them, and we will save them." The sith commander smiled and left. The Dark Lord sat back down in his chair and leaned back, "I will remember this Malak, I will remember this."
Ketreelawa's fur sparkled cleanly, and her white fur and never shown so bright.
"Come on, Ketreelawa, don't you usually talk more?" the wookiee, named Terrabrocca said, smiling as she laid a huge peice of meat on the table in Ketreelawa's quarters.
"No, I do not talk unless I have something to say. I do not take action, unless there is a reason." Ketreelawa replied bluntly.
"It's just such a pity," Terrabrocca said, sitting across the table.
"What is?" Ketreelawa asked with interest.
"You, dear. Your so young, yet you act so mature! Why? What could possibly happen to you to make you like that? I know why I guess. With everything stripped away from you when you were two, and to think that then a bounty hunter enslaved you for all those years!"
Ketreelawa nodded. She knew that lying wasn't the best thing to do, but she didn't want to tell her real story. Instead, she made up stories about a cruel bounty hunter.
"Eat! I'm sure your famished."
Ketreelawa's stomach agreed with Terrabrocca, but her mind thought otherwise. What if it is poisin? I do not want that.
"How did you get here?" Ketreelawa suddenly asked.
Terrabrocca looked up with a stern gaze for a moment, before the sweet smile appeared once again, "Now why would you wonder such a thing?"
"Well, I have told you my history and I just wanted to know yours." Ketreelawa avoided eye contact.
"You'll find out in due time, dear, in due time." Terrabrocca said before taking a bite of the meat, "Eat up, Ketreelawa, it's not poisin."
Sure, Ketreelawa thought before saying, "Who owns this place?"
"Dear, why all the questions?" Terrabrocca asked.
"I just--nevermind." Ketreelawa said before taking one breath and eating the meat.
