Jenina shrieked involuntarily as one jumped on her. A sharp pain barely registered before the Force kicked in. Before she knew what she was doing, her lightsabers were in her hands, and the blades flashed, accompanied by a huge blast in the Force that sent the rakghouls flying down the sewer, far from the group.
Lisa stared. "Wow.."

(Hahaa. Sarahi is a lot like Brendak  ( Sweet move, Jenina!  ) Brendak glanced at the young jedi that had just single-handedly eliminated the threat for the moment. "Impressive," He said to the girl. "Few more moves like that and you won't go unnoticed by the council, young one." Sprinting down the tunnel, he activated his blade, fiery light flickering with a bloody smile. He slipped to the side as a rakgoul lunged for him, stabbing it through the neck as it missed its intended target. "So it will be as it must be....." He whispered with regret. |

(thanks.. it happened on the spur of the moment.. ;D)
Jenina rubbed her leg, wincing.
Lisa watched Brendak.
"Why is he going after them? They live too..." Jenina's voice came from behind Lisa, where she stood attempting to examine her leg.
Lisa shook her head. "They live..but it seems to me that they provoked the fight..and they live just barely..they'll die soon anyway...might as well be quick, right?"

Ketreelawa couldn't help but smile as Jenina eliminated the rakghouls. That was the way to do it: Quickly and simply.

Jenina grinned, and stood, forgetting her leg for a moment. She was quickly reminded of its injury as it buckled beneath her. "Great...."
Lisa turned to look at Jenina. "What is it?"
Jenina sighed. "I did something to my leg.."

Jarx heard Sarahi, "Don't be sorry, trust me, it is better this way."
As the tunnel was filling, the team had to move frontwards rapidly, "keep going!"
As the group ran down the tunnels, they heard terrible screeching behind them as Gamorreans came out of some hidden access points and ambushed the rakghouls.
Jarx saw a small room to the left and motioned for everyone to take cover in there. They ran in there, and closed the blast doors, and Jarx hurried to lock them.

Lisa looked around the small room. "Are we safe now?"
Jenina dug in her pack for her med-kit.

Jarx looked at her, "No, not at all. I see only one way out of this room for us, right back through this door, and who knows how many ways a rakghoul can sneak in here through some vent."
Jarx then caught something out of the corner of his eye, an outcast corpse of a old man propped up against the wall, clutching a datapad.
Jarx looked at Sarahi and gave her a nod to grab the device.

Ketreelawa stood upright, pleased that the ceiling was slightly higher. It was then she noticed the corpse. Great, another dead body. What does it all lead to? She thought before noticing Jenina's injured leg.
She walked over to Jenina. "Do you need any help?" she asked with a concerned expression.

Jenina looked up at her Wookie friend. "I..I think I just cut it back there..It'll be okay..."
Lisa watched Jenina, then looked at the corpse and the datapad. Her curiosity was piqued. What information did it hold? Her fingers itched to touch it..

Sarahi pulled the datapad to her with the Force and wiped away the dirt with her sleeve. She handed it to Jarx. "I'm hoping that this is important."

Jarx grabbed the datapad and looked through its contents, "Combine with the other datapad, I am beggening to get a clear picture of what is going on."
He opened the blast door, much to everyone's suprise, "I rather we get out of here now then..."
A gamorrean tackled him, "I am really starting to hate being jumped!"
Jarx grabbed the gamorrean's neck and with one quick twist broke it. Jarx threw the pig alien off of him, "Hurry, we need to see if this sewer connects with the other one that the others went to."

Ketreelawa followed directly behind Jarx, but not before casting another worried glance at Jenina. Could she walk alright? Ketreelawa changed her mind and walked back to Jenina, "Are you sure you're going to be alright?" Ketreelawa asked protectively, before snatching her ryyk blade and taking a defensive stance. I'm not leaving till she does. Ketreelawa thought.
