Jarx blasted another one when he heard the young pilot scream, Crap! That can't be good!
Jarx turned his body and shot another rakghoul in the chest. He saw out of the corner of his eye Fidella cleaving through a small group on his own, Impressive. That must be why he is a master.
He ran over to the pilot and Brendak as the rest of them routed the rest of the rakghouls. He nodded to Brendak, "Okay, we have to work fast. You seem to have kept her under control. With what your doing, she has but maybe fifteen minutes left to live, max. Me, and two others will look for anything that can save her. You will gaurd her till we get back, and the rest find that journal."
He turned towards Sarahi, "Sorry Sarahi, but I have no choice. We need to work fast before the rakghouls pick up their courage."
He didn't even wait for a response as he started talking to Brendak, "If she turns, kill her. If we are not here in fifteen minutes, it is to late to save her, so kill her. I may sound cruel, but trust me, it would be showing her mercy."

Ketreelawa glanced at Aurra once more before walking up to Jarx. She looked him in the eyes, "I will assist you." She said grabbing her ryyk blade. "I promise I will not let you down."

Brendak couldn't help a slight amount of admiration kindle inside of him. A good leader, that Mandalorian..... When Jarx had finished speaking, he quickly dipped his head out of respect and nodded. "Of course. I will do what I must."
He hesitated, then managed to catch the eye of the person that he knew he could trust to get Aurra the antidote most. "Sarahi," he said stiffly. "Aurra doesn't have much time. Please, search like it was the life of a friend."
With a final nod in her direction, he knelt next to the young pilot once more. He silently prayed that he wouldn't have to kill the girl that he was desperately trying to keep alive.

Sarahi nodded to Jark and then looked at Brendak. "Right." She gave a nod. "No one dies on my watch." Never again...
Cla'Tal looked at Sarahi, making no effort to hide his concern. "Hurry back." he swallowed hard. "Two lives depend on it."
Sarahi could only blink as she joined Jarx's side. "Let's go."

Excruciating pain spread throughout Aurra’s body, as she became more aware of her surroundings. The pain was agonizing! She felt extremely weak; the air around her seemed colder than ice. She shivered violently. It was so cold!
A burning sensation came from within her throat. Suddenly, Aurra couldn’t breath; her lungs screamed out in agony for even the smallest amount of air. The poison was building in her throat, causing a sharp, piercing pain. Aurra rolled over and her body forced her to expel most of the poison.
Aurra gasped for air; her lungs seemed to be on fire. Her eyes darted around searching for an escape from the unbearable pain. Aurra realized the one of jedi, Brendak, was standing over her. Aurra trembled again. She was so cold.
Aurra tried to summon the energy to speak, “What’s ha-ppen-ing? I fe-el c-ol-d.”

Brendak noticed that Cla'Tal was still carrying Shaa. "You can leave her with me," he told the jedi. "I can manage to guard them both for a time."
He realized that Shaa wasn't coping with the poison as well as he had hoped. She had already blacked out, and her skin was being dyed the same pigment as Aurra's. Apparently her connection with the force wasn't enough to keep the disease from swiftly making its way to her heart. The bite must have been severe. Nothing is ever simple.......
When Aurra stirred beneath him, he bent down, only to wince. Waves of pain vibrated off of her so severely that it was a wonder that she was able to control her consciousness. Brendak had to be slightly impressed by her strength, a lesser human wouldn't have been able to handle the pain.
"What's ha-ppen-ing?" the pilot asked in such a strained voice that he had to use the force just to listen to her. "I fe-el c-ol-d."
He pressed his hands to her forehead and said softly. "Don't speak. You were attacked by a rakgoul and your symptoms are normal. Your going to be fine." He left out the fact that because her symptoms were typical, she would go insane within minutes if help didn't arrive soon.
When she continued to shiver, he removed his his cloak and wrapped it around Aurra's trembling body. Brushing the hair away from her face, he murmured one last time, "Your going to be fine."

Jarx nodded and kept his blaster in his hands. He motioned with his head to the two following him and they ran off.
They did not hide their footsteps. They did not creep about. They did not have time for such deeds or feats. They had a mission, and they were going to do it.
Jarx talked to them as they ran through the trash undercity, "I heard the Republic had a serum right before the Sith attacked. If we can find a sith patrol, maybe we will get lucky and find the serum on them. That is our only hope."
------------------------------------------------
Fiddella decided nodded to Brendak, and went to look for the journal. They had to find them, and find this place. They had to.

Ketreelawa scanned the streets, her blue eyes now completely alert for anything. I can not fail again. I will not fail. She thought before hearing Jarx's words. "Than for once, I guess I want to find the sith patrol." Ketreelawa thought aloud.

Shaa's mind turned back on again, allowing the force to help her breathe. She felt a scream coming up her throat, and she let it out. But it wasn't her scream, and it wasn't even a scream. It was a screech. An eerie, creature screech coming from her lungs. It was the sound a Rakghoul made. Shaa shivered and tried to look at what was around her, but her vision was to blurry and distorted, she couldn't even make out what was around her. She tried to lift her hands to feel what was close to her, but they were shaking and cold, almost like they were detached from the rest of her body. She closed her eyes to the force show her, but it was still to clouded. As the poison crept through her shivering body, she felt sharp pains along her healing(from the wound she had gotten before) side, like someone kept jabbing a stick into her, every few seconds. Soon the air she was breathing became bitter, and she tried to sit up, to get more air from anywhere else, but she couldn't. She felt as if she where stuck to the ground. Fighting herself to keep back another screech, the pain became more intense.

Cla'Tal gazed at Brendak calmly. "I think three people is enough to send along." he said. He looked down at Shaa and winced. Her face twisted with agony, and then she let out an inhuman scream.
He set her down on the ground and swallowed hard. He had little training in Force healing, and half the time he wasn't listening. OKay...what did Sarahi say now? Pain...take of the pain...find a way to ease it... Cla'Tal closed his eyes and rested a hand on Shaa's head. He sent her pictures of his homeworld; waterfalls, fields of wild flowers, great forests. Okay...now what? he opened his eyes.
Cla'Tal tried to mentally hear Sarahi's voice within his deep memories. Slow the heart...the poison won't be able to travel as fast.
Cla'Tal summoned more of the Force and use it to slow Shaa's heart and the poison running through her. Healing trance... Right.... He poured his energy into her, hopefully giving Shaa the strength to help heal herself. Oh please...let this work... Cla'Tal prayed silently.

Shaa felt a hand rest on her forehead, as beautiful images flashed through her mind. Waterfalls, fields that seemed to stretch forever, beautiful trees that towered above everything else, almost touching the sky. Her breath slowed, the racing heart in her chest slowed, and she seemed to feel calm once again. Soon she recognized the planet she was seeing to be the place she was raised. Naboo. She inhaled deeply as she felt strength flow through her body again, and had enough breath to whisper to whoever had given her life again, "T-thank y-you."

"You can thank me later..." Cla'Tal smiled down at Shaa. "Just focus on keeping the poison away from your heart. I will help you in anyway I can..."

Jarx and his group ran. Eventually they came to a stop as they heard voices up ahead. Jarx then saw the familier glint of silver as the sith patrol came into view.
Jarx gave a brief nod and the group of three fell on the unexpecting patrol. Jarx leveled his blaster at the first one and pulled the trigger.

Sarahi frowned and gripped her lightsaber tightly. She watched as Jarx raised his blaster and fired. At the same moment Sarahi threw her lightsaber and watched as it twirled towards one member of the sith patrol.

Brendak watched as Cla'Tal bent over Shaa and used the force to begin the torturous healing process. "Nice job," he commented to the Cla'Tal.
The inhuman screech of a Rakgoul sounded not far off, and from the vibrations that it was giving off, it wouldn't take long to get there.
He turned back to his fellow jedi as he gently slipped his arms under Aurra and lifted her from the ground. "Cla'Tal, we should get her and Shaa to higher ground. It will be easiest to defend them that way."
