Ketreelawa jumped upright when she heard the mandalorian's voice over the comm. She sprinted to the turret and sat down. I'll do my part protecting the ship. Ketreelawa thought. She grabbed the control and focused on several sith fighters. Ketreelawa opened fire on one. A rush of satisfaction rushed through her as she watched the fight explode. She aimed at the next closest one. We'll take them one at a time. Ketreelawa thought to herself.

Brendak needed no further pressing. He leaped up the staircase he had been standing next to and heaved himself up and into the gun-room.
His eyes momentarily clouded with surprise as he aimed the control at where one of the sith fighters would be any second now. The proton torpedo's that this mandalorian had were huge. He certainly came prepared....
Brendak closed his eyes and rested his hand on the trigger, letting himself go completely still. He had never fully understood battle-meditation, whenever his master had tried to talk him into using it, he had declined. He didn't prefer letting others in on the fear that he laid before them.
However, mind manipulation was another story. He allowed the force to reach inside of him before he sent it out to the on-coming pilots. Regroup. The only way to win this battle is to destroy the forward engines. They are the only unprotected part of the ship. Come at them together for a sure shot at the engines. Regroup.
Brendak allowed himself a small, satisfactory smile when he could feel in the force the vibrations of his orders being followed. He eyes remained shut when several of the ships compacted together. What he had neglected to tell them was that the mandalorian had thankfully thought of everything and greatly increased the maneuverability in the gun's range.
He focused with the force. The sith fighters approached the engines and continued to move forward. He laid his finger on the trigger, waiting for the perfect hit.
Suddenly, they all came together, each one practically on top of each other, and dove for the forward engines. Brendak instantly yanked backward on the trigger, and opened his eyes to a mass explosion of fire and shrapnel blossomed across the window.

(Brendak... ) Shaa jumped up from her seat and raced to the last turrent. She saw a few fighters coming on to them from the side, and she aimed toward those. One was destroyed in a vibrant, luminous explosion of bright, orange and yellow- and a little bit of red, and the other was hit down by the flying parts of the other fighter. She smiled and aimed at another one, Sith Star Fighters are not match for Jedi. She thought, taking out the closest surviving fighter. Shaa used the force to tap into the thoughts of one of the Star Fighters pilots, only to become even happier when she heard, Help! Any other star fighters out there- we're getting pummeled here! We need help! She twisted the trigger, and then fired at the fighter. It to exploded, but it was so close, that one of the wings broke off, and hit the Twilight Ghost. The tremmer shot pain back into Shaa's side, and she winced as she took one hand off the controls to rub it slowly. Oww.... She thought to herself.

(what? ) Brendak had just enough time to gasp and duck when a piece of debris, possibly a wing, exploded into the side of the Twilight Ghost. He hit the floor when the explosion reached his gun post and blew up half the side of the wall. The broken, burning pieces now made a barrier between him and the door. Perfect. He stood up and cursed when he saw black smoke and bloody flames spewing into space from the side of their ship.

Sarahi pulled out of Force meditation feeling well spent. They weren't out of trouble yet though. She looked to where Brendak was sitting and realized he was gone. She shook her head. Not important.
"Let's try and take these guys down together." Cla' Tal stared at her.
Sarahi nodded reading his thoughts, and although she was tired she closed her eyes once again. She worked her way into the mind of a sith fighter pilot. Left...go left.
~~~
Cla' Tal had been practicing battle meditation. Although he wasn't go at it, he could press simple thoughts into weak mind. Turn right... He pushed the thought into a sith pilot's mind.
A few short moments later, there was an explosion from two sith fighters smashing together. He smiled and looked at Sarahi. "They didn't even see it coming."
She nodded slowly her hood slipping off her head. Sarahi still had her eye closed and her prosthetic eye had dimmed. She looked drained, physically and mentally. "I wish their lives could have been spared...even though they are against us..."
"Don't worry about it, they're just sith pilots." Cla' Tal laughed.
Sarahi stood up. "But they are people nonetheless!" She swayed and sat back down. "That's where you and I are different Cla' Tal."
Ketreelawa closed her eyes and regained her focus. "Feel the force flowing through you, Ketreelawa. Focus on your target. I believe you can do it, Ketreelawa. I believe in you." Ketreelawa's master's voice rang through her head. She fought back tears at the thought of her recently killed master. The darth lord Racran's image rushed into her head. A slight bit of anger poked at her mind, but she shoved it away. No way I'm going to let the dark side into me...again... she thought. The image of Darth Racran suddenly started to morphe...into Brendak Sheil. No, it can't be.Ketreelawa thought shoving the image out of her head, I'm not going to make assumptions. Blast! I'm getting distracted! Ketreelawa opened her eyes and focused once again, aiming at a stray sith fighter before firing.
Brendak Shiel coughed from the dirt that rose from the blockade of what used to be parts of the wall.
Running his hands along the broken metal and dura-steel, he felt for the weakest point with the strongest supports. He would be out of the newly-created encloser soon enough, Brendak just hoped that it would be before the whole ship crashed.
Shaa fell off of her seat when the wing crashed through the ship, but slumped back onto it. She shot down a few remaining fighters as the ship lurched this way and that, back and forth. Shaa gritted her teeth, the Mandalorian was not going to like what she had done. Because if she hadn't shot that one fighter, in that one spot, the wing wouldn't have flown off. And now because of her, the ship was going to crash. Just perfect. She thought.
(Are you sure that Robbie wants it to crash guys? ) Ketreelawa glanced up from the turrent, wondering what had shaking the ship. Who made that happen? Ketreelawa thought.
( The ship does not have to crash, it is just in DANGER of crashing ) Brendak finally found a spot in the debris where the surrounding pieces were tough enough to hold themselves up. He entered his lightsaber into the dura-steel and delicately worked his way to getting himself out.
Jarx felt the shudder of the ship, that was when the warning bells started going off. He could hear the constant whine of some sort of alert or warning, and couldn't flip enough switches to turn them off. He looked at the ship's chart and saw portion's of the ship in dark orange, a few even in the red.
"A secondary turret is not functunal! You better be paying me well for this jedi, because my price has just raised!"
Fiddella did not answer.
--------------------------------
The sith fighters made their runs, fortunatly for the crew of the Twilight Ghost, the damage was not as bad as Brendak had first assume. Yes, that turret was temporaly out of commission, and yes, they had taken severe damage to the hull, but most of the internal systems were A-O-K.
---------------------------------
Jarx saw that they were nearing the planet. He glanced out of the cockpit and saw the Republic Hammer Head that was taking a beating. He saw several escape pods jettison, then the Hammer Head blew, sending debris into the depths of space....
Ketreelawa fired again, blowing up another sith fighter. When are these blasted fighters going to stop coming? Ketreelawa wondered.
Shaa looked around, I doubt this is going as planned... If it is, I seriously question that persons sanity. She thought.
Ketreelawa cast a glance behind her shoulder and gasped when she saw the turrent across the way. A lightsaber was glowing through, and Ketreelawa sensed Brendak behind the rubble. Whoever that blasted jedi was that made that wing hit the ship should be lowered to the rank of padawan! Ketreelawa thought. Or maybe...they are a padawan...like me. What is their story? Why did I have to get caught up with a group of mis-fit jedi? Then Ketreelawa thought better of her thoughts, They are fellow jedi, and I will support them. I need their help...they might need mine. Ketreelawa thought before focasing on a fighter, aiming, then blasting it to pieces. Powerful weapons...this Mandalorian has a nice ship.
Lisa used her feline abilities to remain standing and balanced as the ship jerked and shook. She looked around. "We seem to be having some technical difficulties..." Jenina was knocked onto her seat by the shaking, and clutched her pack tightly. She wondered if anyone had gotten hurt. She stared in awe and horror as fighters' ships exploded under fire. She closed her eyes against the pain, the fear, and then the sudden absence, of the lives in space.
