The group of Jedi slowly exited the ship into the small space station located around Taris. They were sent here to meet with a mercenary. None were to happy to meet this mercenary after hearing what he was. A Mandalorian, one of the fiercest warriors of the galaxy, and who were at war with Republic but a few years ago.
The lead Jedi, a green Twil'lik who went by the name of Fiddela, led the small group of Jedi into the interior of the space station. While exiting the hanger, the group noticed a blackship, which had a fighter tucked underneath it. They didn't have much time to examine it once exiting the hanger.
The green Twi'lik was dressed in his brown jedi robe. The hood was over his head, his hands at his side. His pace was fast which made the others following him have to go at a slow jog, or fast walk.
He went through a door into the meeting room. What the group saw was the back of the chair that the mercenary was sitting on, which was at the head of a long table, which had enough chairs for all of them.
The mercenary spoke, his voice masked by his helmet, "It took you jedi long enough. Ever heard about a keeping track of time?"
He mentioned this as they were over two hours late for the meeting. Fiddela spoke, "It does not concern you how long we take. You are getting paid none the less."
The mandalorian turned around, his mandalorian helmet was firmly attached to his suit. Everyone was in some way intimidated by the black visor of the helmet, as if it was staring into the very depths of your soul.
"Then lets talk bussiness."
Fiddela pointed for his jedi counterparts to take their seats. They all slowly made their ways to the red cushy chairs, and slowly sat in them.
Fieddela sat at the other end of the table, as far as he could from the Mandalorian, "I would like to know the name of the person my Order is hiring before I work with him."
The mandalorian gave a small laugh, "I either have to assume you either do not like mandalorians, or mercenaries, or both. But, so as not to start arguing right off the bat, my name is Jarx. My last name is unnimportant."
Fiddela's facial expression never changed. He was taught not to hate, not to rise to anger. He would not do that now, not after all of the years he had not. Before Fiddela could start speaking, Jarx motioned towards the others, "And since you brought up the topic of names, let your friends introduce themselves."
(You guys can jump right on in.Also, the ones who were going to be on Taris, just post that your ships landed on the space station, or you went with the group I will modify your profiles later. Sorry I have to do it, but it is the only way to make it run smoothly.)

(Oh thats fine Robbie- can Shaa be in the group but not be there yet? She was just fighting you know.... I'll let you modify my post if you don't like it)
Shaa Oty staggered out of her burning ship in the landing hanger, clutching her side. She was injured, not to an extreme extent, but injured. She was Also late, and that made the scowl on her face harden. This is the worst day ever. She thought, thinking about the events of the day: First off, as her first mission, as a Jedi Knight and not a padawan anymore, was to help her old master fight a small war on an outer rim planet. That had gone horribly and ended with her Masters death. Then, Shaa had gotten hurt, and barley having any medical supplies-except bacta and a few bandages, didn't help. Now, her Ship was smoking and in pieces as she walked away. And to top that off, she was late to a meeting with a Mandalorian. She walked into the space station, where a large group of Jedi were. "What did I miss?"

Brendak Shiel scowled and crossed his arms, falling back into the chair cautiously. "Not
much, kid." He hissed to himself as the young female stumbled into the room holding her
side. He purposely sat himself at a distance from the whole group, further from everything that
breathed and much closer to the door. He glared futilely at the mandalorian's helmet.
Disgust and annoyance stired inside him, this was not something the jedi did, dealing with
criminals. The mandalorians were as much the jedi's enemy as..... the sith. Brendak pushed
away a shadow that lurched inside him and sighed. He couldn't stand a untrustworthy being
knowing his name, but since some of the others were turning their attention to the female,
this was going to go nowhere if someone didn't introduce themselves. "I am Brendak, mandalorian." He instinctively left out the rouge's name and skipped right
to what this guy really was: an enemy of the republic.

Shaa nodded and sat down at the table, more towards the back. She gripped her side and winced, but forced a small smile to her face to hide the pain. She did not want the other Jedi to think of her as a weakling. Every one else did. "My name is Shaa Oty." She said softly.

Post by Sarahi Leor Qui on Nov 16, 2009 2:09:30 GMT -7
(I am assuming Sarahi and Cla'Tal are among the small group of jedi, if not let me know)
Sarahi's eye narrowed and she crossed her arms. She wasn't comfortable around too many people. She didn't so much mind the mandalorian as she did the other jedi. Of course, it was only natural for her to trust someone more outside of her jedi family than it was to trust within. Within the past few years, several jedi and even her own master had proven that.
This had better not be a waste of time. Sarahi waited until a few of the attendants had introduced themselves and then she stepped forward and pulled her hood down. The right side of her face was covered in a metallic plate that served as a mask to cover the scars from a skirmish she had, had with a sith. Her prosthetic right eye glowed bright red. Sarahi felt that her face was a warning that she didn't mess around. "Sarahi Qui at your service." If anyone of you try and cross me I will slice you in pieces and throw what's left of you into the magma of Mustafar. She made the threat in her mind.
------
Cla' Tal grinned and put an arm around Sarahi who was pulling her hood back over her head. He patted her shoulder a few times. "The name's Cla 'Tal, I'm with Sarahi here."
Sarahi jerked away from him. "Don't touch me again." She warned under her breath.
Cla' Tal gave a smirk. That's why I fell in love with her.

Jarx quitely examined the ones who spoke, no one knowing who he was looking at because of his helmet blocked his face from view, They seem more like a group of misfits to me. Why the Jedi decided I should work with the group is beyond me, but I really don't care.
He planted both of his hands on the table, "So is this all I have to work with?"

Ketreelawa looked into the man's eyes. Waving her paw in front of her she spoke quietly, "You have done a great favor, and eventually you will be rewarded." The man stared blankly back at her, "I have done a great favor, eventually, I will be rewarded." The man repeated. "Go back to Taris, there is nothing you need here." Ketreelawa finished. "I will go back to Taris," the man said as he turned and walked to his ship, "there is nothing I need here." Ketreelawa reached out with her mind, it had taken a while to talk someone into bringing her to the space station, but she was sure she felt the force. She felt the force stronger than she had before. That meant she was closer. She walked down several corridors, letting the force lead her to the location of maybe, she hoped, fellow jedi. After crashing on Taris, what seemed like ages ago, she had tryed to survive on her own for a few days. But today...she felt a presence or maybe more than one, in the force. Hopeful, she had "convinced" a man to take her to the space station, and now, she was here. Wandering through hallways, searching. If they were indeed fellow jedi, she would assist them in their current mission. Eventually, she would hopefully get back to the Order. She entered the room.

Two females sat together, the one hanging back uncertainly while the other seemed quite at home. "I am Lisa Kantura." The confident one said. Her eyes seemed to switch from normal to feline, then back. Cat ears pricked up from under her dark red hair. "This is my friend and fellow Jedi, Jenina Fenwyn." The uncertain girl nodded her head shyly, looking around at everyone. Lisa surveyed the group of people with interest. Jenina noticed Shaa's injury, and also somehow understood that she was being strong and trying not to show her pain. She remembered the med-kit in her pack.

Shaa winced once more and as she looked cautiously at the Mandalorian, a flash back flew through her mind. ------- "Shaa! It is hard for me to believe that you were once my Padawan!" Wy-rone Mateek exclaimed, walking up to his old Padawan. Shaa let a huge smile cover her face as she greeted her old Master on the battle field. "I was, but now I am a Jedi Knight!" She proclaimed, much joy welling up in her heart. ------- "MASTER!" Shaa screamed, rushing over to her fallen Master. He looked up at her, his eyes straining to make out her dirty, tear-stained face. "Shaa..." He tried to speak, but ended up coughing and looking away. "Don't leave me, not yet..." --------- Shaa wiped away a falling tear, and dusting off her face, so no one would see she had let herself grieve.

Jenina watched Shaa, trying not to seem like she was staring. Her heart ached. Obviously this one had had something very tragic happen to her. Lisa watched Brendak with interest.

Shaa glanced around meeting Jenina's eyes. She tried to smile, but the pain in her heart didn't let her. She quickly looked away and pulled her Jedi robe hood over her head.

Jarx leaned back in his chair, tapping his fingers on the table. So far, he saw two people who shouldn't even be there, and he had a feeling one or two more would likely do the same, "So, are these members with you, or just butting in, Jedi?"
Fiddela answered him in a calm manner, "I don't know who the wookie is. But, they are Jedi, and are welcomed none the less. The Wookie may be here ifit wishs. I have a strong feeling that it is meant to be with us."
"This just keeps getting better and better." Jarx mumbled to himself. He glanced at the Wookie, he could tell that the Wookie was female. He looked away from the Wookie to examine the other Jedi. The Wookie would have to remain a mystery at the moment.
He took a glance at the man called Brendak. He seemed more like a sith in Jarx mind, and he had only seen a couple in his life time. He obviously hated Mandalorians, just like the Jedi Master leading the blasted jedi group.
He turned to look at the couple looking Jedi. The Sarai and Cla, if he heard correctly. Sarai, with half her face a mask, could deffently pass off as a sith if she really wanted to. He could see the expression on her face, while the man called Cla just sat there, smiling smugly.
He then focused on the late commer girl. She seemed somewhat hurt, in some way, but he had no further comments on the young Jedi.
He spoke, his tone hinting at no emotion, "So, Jedi, since we are all, somewhat aquantited, let us speak of bussiness."
(I will post this the next time I am on. I will see if Aurea gets on, if she does, it could really open up to how I can get us on the actual planet of Taris.)

They accept me. I am happy about that. At least for the moment I have a group that I can trust. Ketreelawa's thoughts slide back to only a few days ago... "No master!" Ketreelawa screamed. "May the force be with you Ketreelawa," Ketreelawa's injured master said, her voice so soft, just a mere whisper, "may the force be with you always." She finished. It was then the evil darth lord stabbed Ketreelawa's master through the heart. "Noooooooo!" Ketreelawa cried out in agony. Suddenly, Ketreelawa felt nothing, then a wave of emotions rushed into her. Fear, pain, sadness, and...anger. Ketreelawa felt anger most of all. Her master was dead, because of her. She was angry and she was going to avenge her master's death. With new strength Ketreelawa jerked herself free from the restraints holding her back. "Nooooo!" She screamed again. Ketreelawa's thoughts returned to reality as she swept thoughts of the past out of her mind. She had to concentrate and listen to what these fellow jedi's mission was.

Post by Aurra Lunelle on Nov 18, 2009 0:01:08 GMT -7
"Blast!" Aurra exclaimed, "I've been hit!". Aurra's star ship, The Talon, shook from enemy fire. Aurra's hands raced quickly over the ship's console as she skillfully dodged the next round of laser blasts.
I gotta shake this guy and quick! The Talon's shields can't last much longer.
Suddenly a harsh voice crackled over the ship's comm-link, "So we meet again, Neil Lunelle. Surrender and power down your ship." The name Neil Lunelle brought back a flood of memories to Aurra.
How does this guy know my father?
"Um, who?"Aurra said over the comm-link, "Do I sound like a Neil to you?" The enemy ship slowed down and then halted in front of The Talon.
"Who is this? Neil, I know your listening; you can't win this time. Your ship can not withstand much more of this. Surrender and I will not harm you or any of your crew." The voice sounded angry. "I am the only person aboard this ship. I don't know who this Neil person is, but I assume you are talking about the previous owner of this ship. Well, I've got news for you; he died three years ago and I bought this ship from a relative who inherited it. So, stop shooting at my ship! I have no quarrel with you." Aurra replied, hoping the voice over the comm-link would believe her story. After a long silence the voice said, "This is all a misunderstanding!". The enemy ship suddenly flipped over and accelerated toward the distant stars. Aurra sighed with relief, before quickly checking The Talon's pilot console. "Blast! I am gonna have to find a place to land." Aurra exclaimed as she examined the extent of the damage to The Talon. She surveyed her surroundings; she was a little ways off the planet Taris.
I don't think The Talon can make it all the way to the planet's surface!
Aurra noticed a nearby space station orbiting Taris and changed her course. After checking with the space station's authorities, Aurra carefully guided The Talon into the hanger bay on the space station.
After she had successfully landed, Aurra leaned back in the pilot seat and let out a sigh.

Shaa glanced around meeting Jenina's eyes. She tried to smile, but the pain in her heart didn't let her. She quickly looked away and pulled her Jedi robe hood over her head. Jenina sighed, and watched Shaa turn away. She wasn't going to push the issue of treating the injury if it wasn't wanted..
