She made friends in an underground resistance group. They looked out for one another, and supported each other. Something happened one night that she reveals to no-one, but it haunts her to this day. All that she will say is that her friends' suffering and deaths are her fault. She bears a heavy burden of guilt and pain. She is not afraid of much, and tends to be defiant when caught in a situation. She laughs in the face of death, but would die to protect others who cannot defend themselves. Lisa heard about the Jedi while working in one of the many bars on Coruscant. She met Jenina Fenwyn when they first entered the Jedi Order, and they shared stories. Lisa is fiercely protective of Jenina, and goes on the defensive when she thinks someone may try to hurt her friend.
