Sarahi put a hand on Jenina's shoulder. "He'll be fine Jenina, you did great."
Just then the Republic soldier spoke. "Thank you jedi, but I am okay. Were you with the jedi Bastilla?"
Bastila! Where have I heard that name? Sarahi thought hard. Her eyes widened. "You wouldn't happen to mean Bastila Shan, would you?" Sarahi asked.

Brendak darted sharply around a corner, at last coming to the group. When he saw Sarahi, he nearly colapsed with relief. Before he could stop himself, Brendak rushed up to her saying, "Sarahi! Thank the force your Ok! I, uh..." His face flushed when remembered about the other people standing around them.
He quickly focused his attention on the man that was now talking. He looked in perfect health, thanks to Jenina. He nodded his apreciation to her. "You did a wonderful job for a first timer." Inwardly pleading that this would switch the inquisitive eyes of the group to a different subject.

Sarahi smiled. "I'm fine." she said hoping that Brendak wouldn't question about dried blood on her face.

The Republic soldier nodded, "Yes ma'am, is she okay?"
Jarx shook his head, "We have no idea soldier. We came in about the same time you did, we saw what happened."
He noticed Brendak, and gave him a quick slap on the back of the head, "That is for leaving these two ladies alone." He whispered sharply.

Jenina blinked, and started to open her mouth to comment on the fact that she could take care of herself, but thought better of it. No sense in arguing with this guy... she thought.

Brendak glared at him (wow, he IS hard headed!) and opened his mouth, only to shut it again. Jarx did have a point. Jenina and the wookie each couldn't be more than seventeen. Here nodded at Jarx and was about to reach into the force, when he noticed something different about Jarx, (Here we go Sarahi!  ;D  ) he was carrying Sarahi's light saber! Brendak's eyes widened and he shot a glance at Sarahi. She now held two different light sabers that both boasted designs that he had never seen before. That meant that she had given Jarx her light saber. But why...... suddenly, Brendak's lungs tightend and his breath slowed, afraid that he knew the answer. |

Sarahi shivered, feeling Brendak's stare. She tried to shrug it off, but it was near impossible. She switched her attention to the republic soldier. "Do you remember anything before you got inot the escape pods? If you don't just say so, I don't want you to get a headache from thinking too hard."

Jenina blinked at Brendak. I'm 16...old enough to take care of myself... she thought. She brushed it away, and then helped the Republic man up, supporting him with her shoulder. "Why were the Sith attacking your ship, sir?" she queried.

The man stood up, "They laid a trap for us. They took us out of no where. Bastila was on a mission, what it was, I don't know. Carth Onasi was the captain of our ship. It was a bloody fight, but we managed to get to the pods. Were Bastila's is, I don't know."

Jenina nodded, still giving the man support. She wanted to be sure he could stand... "We should get you to a medical facility...." she glanced around. "I'd volunteer..."

Shaa also held Adara's arm. "Uh, yea. What she said." Shaa tried to act tough and like she knew what she was doing. That was hard. Really hard.

"I go too!" Ketreelawa offered. She could find out more about her new...comrads, Jenina seemed to know alot. Something strange was between Brendak, Jarx, and Sarahi. But what?

The sith guards narrowed their eyes. "If she's a prisoner, how come you aren't taking her to the lowest level?"
Adara stiffened. Julie released her, bounding forward. "Change of plans!" she shouted. She pounded a fist into the guard's forehead. She hit him again so he would sink to the ground, unconscious. With one arm free, Adara pointed her palm at a crate nearby. She raised it into the air and pulled it until it crashed against the other guard's skull. He still stood, however...

Shaa also let go, and sped to the guard who was standing. She twirled and kicked his head, knocking him down. "whew... haven't done that in a while..." she said wiping her brow.
(I have now posted Shaa's story in "The Padawan Learner"!!!! ;D enjoy!!!!!! thank you for the help Jarx!!)
