Fights with his left hand only, because his right was severly injured after being totured by his father; Brendak also bears a deep scar across his thoat from the same event. Personality: Reserved, very unsocial. Rarely ever talks and is often bothered by those who joke or can't be serious about evil, because he himself is deeply affected by the dark side and is constantly afraid of following in the foot steps of his Sith father. History: Brendak's father was the evil Darth Racran and his mother was a captured Jedi who had been forced to marry him. Brendak was born with an unuseualy strong conection with the force, but when his mother found out she masked it with her own force powers, knowing that if Racran knew Brendak would be taken away to train as a Sith. Brendak had a close bond with his younger sister, Aurebel, and they looked out for each other. One day, when Brendak was eight, Racran figured out that his son was force sensetive and seized both Brendak and Aurebel, killing their mother as she tried to protect them. Brendak was seperated from Aurebel and was trained to be Sith under his father. But Brendak did not have the heart of a Sith. Seven years into his training, when he was 15, The Sith raided a large industry that was often an aid to the Jedi. They stormed the building and stole whatever they could carry, and unknowingly provoked a Jedi Master that happened to be in the building. Attacking swiftly and skillfully, the Jedi engaged with Brendak. Using the force and his talented light saber skills, Brendak managed to defeat the Jedi by force-grabing his light saber. Racran watched from the side lines and commanded Brenak to kill the Jedi. Brendak refused. Enraged, Darth Racran force choked his son into unconciousness, then killing the Jedi. Racran took his son back to the Sith Monestary and tortured him there. Because of this, Brendak lost the use of his right hand and bears a deep scar full across his throat. Not a day after that, a band of Jedi sent from the counsel invaded the Monastary, capturing or killing most of the Sith; Racran ecscaped, however. When a Jedi named Senlir Wrin found Brendak badly injured, the Jedi who claimed he would never have a padawan, imedietly felt a strange conection with the boy. Taking Brendak back to the Temple with him, Senlir anounced that he would have Brendak as his padawan. The councel reluctently agreed. Although he treasured the Jedi in the highest possible way and was greatly comforted by Senlir, Brendak suffered from visions of his father daily and greatly feared that he would become just like him. When he was 20, he felt driven with to go out of the Temple. He meandered around untill he heard a shriek from somewhere in the alleys of Corascant. He raced though the streets, certain he recognized the voice. He searced for an absurdedly long four days , driven on by an unknown fire When he finally came to the place where the scream had been uttered, he found his sister, Aurebel, dying in the road. He held her for the few moments of life that she had left and asked her who had done this. Aurebel told him that their father was here on Corascant looking for him. She said that He had taken her hostage on a ship, forcing her to tell him where Brendak was. Aurebel knew but had refused to tell him where her brother was and, in a rage Racran had totured her and then left her on Corascant to die after feeling Brendak's presence there. While Brendak cried and had asked her forgiveness that he hadn't been able to find her here for four days, she, with her dying breath, told him that She had just been thrown out of th ship an hour ago and had only screamed while she was on the ship. I was then that Brendak realised that he had the ability to sense the evil practices of the Sith and where they were or going to be. Brendak was carrying Aurebel back to the Jedi Temple when he noticed something in her pocket-bag. As Brendak pulled it out, he imeadietly recognized his mother's strange, maroon light saber that she had used to defend himself and Aurebel from their father. Brendak kept the bade and has never used any other weapon since, it reminds him that he is fighting for justice against the Sith. He was almost to the Temple when his father attacked him from behind, using a greeting with words that Brendak never forgot.
" I thought I sensed you here, Brendak," Racran sneered. He then acknowledged Aurebel with a smile. " What a pity she had to die after you abandoned to go to this rag-tag planet. For a moment I considered not torturing her to death just so she could she could see the sniveling coward you are."
Brendak quickly let rage take hold and fought Racran (obviously with his left hand) untill dawn when Brendak's anger became his downfall. Racran drove his son to the ground and was about to kill him when Senlir Wrin, who had sensed Brendak's distress, fought the already exhausted Sith off into the remaining shadows, but did not pursue him because he felt that Brendak's physical condition was critical. After Brendak was treated at the Jedi medical quarters, he vowed to himself never to let his anger take hold of himself again( hence, Brendak rarely even uses his light saber).
Shortly after this event Senlir died protecting inocent lives, and Brendak was lost. Unsure of what to do or how to heal his heart, he cried out to for Senlir to help him. Amazingly, Senlir managed to appear to Brendak in a dream, telling him that hte only way to find peace was to confront his father along with his Sith past. Brendak had a feeling that he needed to follow the band of Jedi that had already left for Tantooine a day before.
Brendak tracked The Jedi to Hoth and has just been able to catch up with them, utterly in the dark about what will happen next.
